Astana Hematology Forum 2026 - International scientific and practical conference

HemForum (Astana Hematology Forum) is an annual international scientific and clinical conference organized by the Republican Public Association "Kazakhstani Society of Hematologists" (KSH). The forum brings together specialists from across Kazakhstan and international experts to share experience, discuss current approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of blood disorders, and advance the hematology service in the country.

HemForum is conceived as the principal professional platform of Kazakhstani hematology — a place where practising physicians, researchers, and healthcare administrators meet face to face, discuss complex clinical cases, align their practice with international guidelines, and develop shared approaches to patient management.

The forum programme is designed to be multidisciplinary and addresses a broad range of specialists:

• hematologists and hemato-oncologists — as the core audience;
• transfusion medicine specialists and clinical laboratory diagnostics physicians;

• the adoption of a final resolution based on the outcomes of the discussions.

Each year the programme covers the full spectrum of clinical and laboratory hematology, including:

• plasma cell disorders and multiple myeloma;
• acute leukemias and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation;
• myeloproliferative and myelodysplastic neoplasms;
• chronic lymphocytic leukemia, indolent and aggressive lymphomas;
• rare and orphan blood diseases;
• cellular therapy and the prospects of CAR-T;
• supportive care, nursing care, and infection control;
• onco-psychology, patient support, and the prevention of professional burnout;
• digital technologies and artificial intelligence in hematology practice.

A dedicated place in the programme is given to the discussion and updating of the KSH clinical guidelines.
